Welcome!

It was a trip to Big Sur, CA where this passion first cultivated. The gorgeous country side inspired me to do nothing all day but take pictures. At the time, I claimed that day to be the best day of my life. I think it still was.

It was about a year and a half ago when I got my first professional grade camera. It was love at first click. I had FINALLY graduated college, and found a true passion.  Over the past year or so I have been working to develop my own voice as a photographer, taking classes, meeting photographers, and reading, reading, reading! Because of my wonderful, and my I say beautiful, friends and family I have luckily been able to practice as much as possible. These people are the real reason I was able to become a photographer.  There are so many people truly, who have helped me develop and become a photographer (Dan and Elliott (whos wedding I can not wait to photograph), Emily and John who are so encouraging of me, Meigan and Ryan for being my Wisconsin Ginny pigs, Jen, Trey and baby Tyler who are such a perfect little family, Tara and the adorable Skyler and to Alexis who's  moto always rings in my ear- JUST DO IT!).

I would like to say a few special thank you's additionally to....

The Shirley's, who always let me practice on their beautiful baby boy! I think it is truly because of baby Max that I became a photographer.  A special thanks to Kelsey who is my true champion, and always pushes me forward, and makes me feel way more special than I am!

The Howalds/Branoffs, for taking a chance on me- and letting me be a part of such a special wedding! I can't wait to share their wedding on here.

The U of A Law School, who gave we the wonderful opportunity to photograph the U of A Law School events.

My cousin Brooke who let me photography her wedding ceremony (and her baby Bella)- you were my first wedding!

My Mom- who bought me my first camera, and always inspires me to reach for the stars and achieve my dreams.

My fiance Matt who is my true inspiration, my best critic and my biggest champion. It is thanks to his patience that I am able to spend all of our vacation days taking pictures. With out him this would not be possible. (Quite literally actually - as he is my tech support)

I hope to share all of their pictures, and a lot more with you over the next few weeks. I now have a year of experience behind me photographing thanks to these people and their many referrals. This blog will serve as my first attempt at cracking into this business and sharing my work publicly. I hope you all enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy taking and sharing pictures!

Wishing you all the very best!

Elizabeth
